What is SHARBAT ?
Sharbat is a popular drink in Western Asia, Indian subcontinent and Indonesia made with fruits or flower petals. It is a sweet cordial, and usually served chilled. As an Indian, my memories of summers are hot and lazy days, playing under hot sun all day with friends, cousins and coming home to chug down some refreshing drinks like homemade lemonade.
Where have I learnt this NIMBU ADRAK SHARBAT ?
In India we have some amazing thirst quenching drinks like Nimbu sharbat, Sugarcane juice, lassi, buttermilk etc. As I’m a huge fan of freshly squeezed sugarcane juice which is usually made with an hint of Ginger. And that’s where I got the inspiration to make this refreshing NIMBU ADRAK SHARBAT/GINGER LEMONADE. That twist to the regular lemonade makes more interesting and refreshing with a hint of spicy kick from ginger.
This lemonade is a great crowd pleaser in get togethers and parties. This non alcoholic drink is loved by all.
