Tempered rice is a quick and instant recipe to make something tasty and flavorful with the leftover rice. This is indeed very easy to prepare and requires very few basic ingredients. This is one such method in which I finish up the left over rice, as it does not involve much of work. This recipe can be prepared with fresh rice as well, on days when you really don’t want to cook something big and for more spiciness you can add in any spice mixes you have as well.
WHAT MAKES THIS HEALTHY??
As I have used my Coconut and flax seed spice here in making this tempered rice makes it healthy and flavorful. Coconut and flax seeds are few of my favorite ingredients. Also with added goodness of pumpkin and sunflower seeds, flavored with garlic. Flax seeds are a good source of dietary fiber and omega-3 fatty acids, contains nutrients like lignans, antioxidants, fiber, protein, and polyunsaturated fatty acids such as alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), or omega-3.
