WHAT MAKES THIS HEALTHY??
A healthy, hearty and delicious Indian style stir fried rice flavored with Sesame moringa spice mix .Stir fried recipes are perfect to make when you’re in hurry to make something delicious without having to do much prepping, this is it. I have added in lotus root, green peas and flavored with loads of garlic.
Moringa is a superfood power packed with all the healthy goodness like antioxidants, substances that can protect cells from damage and may boost your immune system. Rich in Vitamin C, Calcium, iron protein, amino acids and many more. While the sesame seeds contain fiber, iron, calcium, magnesium and phosphorus, they are also rich in healthy fats like polyunsaturated fatty acids and Omega-6.
In this spice mix I have used superfood Moringa leaves which are air dried(see notes below), iron rich black sesame seeds, black gram dal with full of protein, sunflower seeds and seasoned with lots of garlic, red chillies and spices. Sunflower seeds helps in mellowing down the bitter taste of sesame seeds and moringa leaves.
