What is Paratha?
Paratha is most familiar and very popular in the South Asian countries like India, Pakistan and in all restaurants and road side dhabas. There are different kinds of Parathas like Potato, Paneer, onion, Cauliflower etc. Today, I have decided to make Stuffed Cheesy Pesto Paratha.
Paratha is the most common and popular across north India. In recent days we can see many variations of Paratha spread all over India and abroad too. While Aloo Paratha is one of the most popular breakfast dishes throughout western, central and northern regions of India as well as in Pakistan. I decided to give this paratha a little Italian twist by smearing the paratha with basil pesto and stuffing it with mozzarella cheese, chopped spinach, and grated paneer.
Where I learnt this recipe?
I learnt the recipe of Basic stuffed paratha from my mother, and being a experiment freak and my love for basil pesto has turned me to make these delicious parathas. My toddler has loved this when I made this for her breakfast couple of times. What a mother can ask for more when your kid loves your experiment.
